They had played up a masquerade, where-ever it may have been, they had Shane Donovan dressed to the nines to pass himself off as Stefano, but they did have Mascolo in a non-speaking role being led to a prison cell. What I’m getting at is this, this story puts it out there that the plane never landed on the airstrip, then they play up the wreckage being found in the Aegean. To me this shows that Victor was taken hostage, sabotage the plane, have the wreckage to be found, to give the illusion that Victor went down with the plane. Now, Phillp, look at how many people know that Phillip is alive & with the plane never landing gives the illusion that Victor went to his son, that would explain as to why the plane never landed anywhere. They could certainly have Lavoisier showing up by putting it out there that Victor died in his sleep in the facility that Phillip is in. Remember, when Peggy passed they did play up that she died in her sleep, at the exact moment that Will had put out there that he was in her arms.
