How are you doing? Just saw your post saying that you were on oxygen. I think about you often, especially when I see my little friend Gary. I remember all of your kind words when he was going through chemo and surgeries. Are you still in NC? How are you liking it? Please let me know how you are doing–I care about you.

     Mommytutu,

Thank you for caring!  all of you mean so much to me too!  I’m doing fine,  I’m still on oxygen, other than that nothing new.  I’m in ohio right now visiting my family.   I’m staying here for a while.  My husband’s plant just opened last month he works for an ethenol plant, and they’ve been working him very long hours, like 12-14 hour days, 7days a week.  no body wanted me to be by myself that long, So I’m staying with my parents until his work schedule lightens up a bit.   hopefully it wont be too long cause I’m missing him now!     we are still in NC and yes we do like it down there, but i’m in ohio right now!  Again, thanks for asking!    How is your friend Gary doing?

Glad you are with family while your husband is working such a rigorous schedule. Gary is doing very well. His parents just held "Strike out Sarcoma" event to raise money for sarcoma research. Last spring my oldest daughter and I participated on Paula’s Pillowcase Project with his mom, Paula. We made flannel pillowcases for children undergoing treatment at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. If you’re on Facebook, you can find the group named for the project and see lots of pictures. Gary is in 8th grade this year, playing soccer and baseball and getting ready to go to Australia next year as an exchange student. He has made an amazing recovery and we are all so thankful for that. He is a great kid! BTW, my real name is Basma O’Neill, and if you’d like, I’m on Facebook and you can send me a friend request.

Take care of yourself, and I hope your hubby’s schedule settles down soon so the two of you can be together again.
