Wow, Nicole really showed her insecurities in a big way this week when she had the talk with Jada about the difficulties of single motherhood. Her goal was obvious, even though she didn’t come out and say it or even admit it to herself, she wanted Jada to end her pregnancy. Nicole didn’t tell Jada about the wonderful aspects of motherhood, only the negative.
Jada, on the other hand, made the decision to end her pregnancy herself after Nicole’s visit. I guess she was in such an emotional state that she didn’t think it through or seek out advice from other people. I’m surprised she let Nicole’s visit influence her, I thought she was stronger than that.
I think Nicole needs to sign up for some sessions with Marlena to deal with her issues. Of course, Marlena might refer her to someone else since Jada was carrying her grandchild.

I have actually been a Nicole fan for a long time, but after what she did to Jada, I’m over her. What she did was awful and unforgivable. Eric kept telling her he loved her and that Jada’s baby would not change their relationship. She’s so insecure that she couldn’t help but go and try to convince Jada to not have this baby. And even more frustrating has been watching her convince everyone that she had no part in Jada ending the pregnancy. She had only one intention when she went to Jada and that was to convince her to abort the baby. She is a selfish, awful person. She also showed us all that she can’t be without a man for a minute. She’s already getting drunk with EJ and going home with him. The writing for Nicole is just awful!

BTW, there is speculation that Jada didn’t have an abortion. I don’t know how that would work out because you can’t hide a pregnancy that long, but that would be a twist.

I used to be a Nicole fan, too, but became very disillusioned with her during the whole Ali/Sami/Henry thing when she stuck her nose into all of their businesses. And, lately she has been making one bad decision after the other. I couldn’t believe she tried to deny her intentions toward Jada, and was glad Eric didn’t fall for her lies.
As far as the speculation that Jada didn’t have an abortion, I had a feeling the other day right after she said she had the abortion and was alone in her room. Something about the look on her face made me think, “I bet she didn’t really have the abortion, but said so in order to remove herself from Nicole and Eric.” If so, she’ll have to leave town in order to hide it.

If she was even pregnant. Not that I have ever had to have an abortion, but could Jada have gotten one as fast as it appears that she did? Even though we know that Salem is in its own time dimension, not much time seems to have passed in this debacle of a storyline.

Jessigirl22, I had a friend in college who had an abortion. She was not able to get it done that quickly. She had to have an initial appointment and then they scheduled the abortion. Also, anaesthesia is used, so you have to have someone take you to the appointment and drive you home. You can’t just take yourself in and drive yourself home. There isn’t really much accuracy on this show. However, I do think Jada may still be pregnant. Either she will go away when she starts to show and maybe give the baby up for adoption or a couple of months down the road she will say she’s pregnant again and maybe pass it off as Rafe’s baby. I don’t think that will happen, but then again, who knows.
