What a stupid ass episode! Why in the hell Lani didn’t tell Eli or whomever days before the wedding is beyond me. Sometimes these writers make me want to throw a brick at the TV.
She is a police officer, Eli is a peace officer, ex-FBI, he had 2 active FBI friends there, Abe was police commissioner, they could have drawn on Roman and JJ. They could have quietly surrounded Gaby, grabbed the phone from behind then arrrested her! If she doesn’t have the phone and web access Julie is safe then they can get the pacemaker reprogrammed or replaced
between her sob story, her crocodile tears, and the fact that she could have ended the whole thing by simply walking over to Gabi and grabbing that damn phone out of her hands and then showing….not just telling….everyone the app and what intentions Gabi had for it, then arresting her in front of the whole room, after, of course, she put her lights out. OMG when is this bad writing going to end?????
Your story would have been a refreshing surprise to fans rather than this left at the altar nonsense we’ve seen over and over and over again.
Writers, where is your imagination and creativity? It would be nice to see a happy couple get married, especially before this time jump. Of course, one way to remedy this is to have them happily married when Days returns on the Monday after the time jump.
I hated this episode! Lani should have just called her out in front of everyone. Lani ended up a wimp instead a strong woman. How on earth did she become a police officer? She’s so wimpy!
In her fantasy, she calls out Gabi and attacks her. But that is way too logical for this soap to actually happen.
This episode really bothered me, more than most. I absolutely hate this so-called storyline. Lazy, sloppy, insulting writing. This is not entertainment.
Yeah just punch Gabi out and take her phone and show everyone she has this app on her phone and call it a day.
