especially having Shawn and Belle and others helping to build the home. And I agree with Mary and the others – Corday makes the same (or similar) promises every year and then doesn’t quite deliver.
money grubbing …. leaving this part blank! lol The original story had Mimi with decent parents who were just financially in trouble. Sad they decided to change the direction.
I could never understand that one. Mimi’s father lost his job and was out trying to find work when they lost their house. Her mother was a homemaker and took care of her family the best she could and her little brother was adorable. Suddenly her dad’s an abusive drunk and her mother’s a floosie and it was portrayed that they were always like that.
That was one of the worst history rewrites I’ve seen yet.
I am really disappointed in this decision. I have nothing against a gay SL, I just would have preferred it to be someone without a history with the show. There is no going back from this and I just don’t think it can last. I feel that in the end it will lead to Will going to live with Lucas. Or else he will become an infrequent back story character.
I’m not saying I’m happy with the gay storyline or not but I don’t see it being the end of Will. He can still be in front burner storylines without the gay issue being front and center.
It still doesn’t make sense that Will would suddenly be gay. But then why should I expect Days to make sense??
I don’t see it as suddenly being gay. I’m taking it that he’s never had a girlfriend before and he’ll soon realize he doesn’t have the feelings toward Gabi that he wants to have.
From what I read they’re ready to take their relationship to the next level but he’s not feeling it. That’s when he starts to quesiton it. The there’s that new athletic 18 or 19 year old coming to Salem that may be what really gets him thinking.
