Mary Beth Evans will return as Kayla Johnson in September for an undetermined amount of time.
This is great! It will be sad to see her without Steve though, I guess he’ll stay behind with Joe.
Also Valerie Wildman as Fay returns on July 30th.
I never did have any special interest in her character nor the actress. She just kind of leaves me cold. I couldn’t even get interested in the storyline about her and Abe’s affair.
I don’t know if she was with Roman but I seem to remember when she was first on and worked at that diner Roman was a regular customer and seemed to be interested in her.
Yup, same diner. Kate only worked there for a short time though and suddenly she was in the black again sitting on top of her world.
"always da bridesmaid, never da bride" – he hasn’t been hooked up in 20 years now…Marlena a long time ago, and when he married Kate (well, that was the wedding from hell)…who could he get together with that is single, his age (60 something?), and nice.
Roman is like Rafe – a nice guy. So I don’t wish any of the women in Salem on him – except who??? (Maggie’s older? and the only nice single lady). Fay was nice too, but don’t think she’ll stick around…Adrieane? – his age and available…and Anna could come back…(has Roman forgiven her?)
who is a warden could be a new ‘interest’ for Roman. He has been alone for too, too long. Whoever it is, it would almost have to be someone new to town since there is no one else really available.

but she seemed to always wait on Roman at the diner (which is still a question as to why he frequented the diner when his mom owns the pub).
for the rest of my life (i.e., Roman in the Pub), I’d still want to eat at BK or CJ’s once and a while…besides, the diner didn’t look like it was in a too appealing area, perhaps he was conducting cop shop business there (meeting with his snitches or other contacts). Wasn’t Kate working there the same time? Or was that later?
