We live thru one god-awful week-long day with tumor diagnosis, deaths, kidnappings and births…but Lani make detective without so much as cracking a book or mentioning exams? Because she judo-chopped Ben in the midwife’s office? Gimme a break!!!

make a point to say how long she would have to work before she could become a detective? And what was the story with the Miami PD vouching for her? I thought she was a brand new cop?
