    Why was there no story at all as to who had owned The Bistro before Gil Carter ended up getting it?

    Let me rephrase this: I may not know who had owned The Bistro before Gil Carter ended up getting it, but still, why was there no story has to how he had gotten it from the previous owner?

    I am just reading recaps. How did Gil come to own the cafe? Did he buy it, or did Clyde Weston own it to use as a front for drugs and money laundering.

    I’d like to know the answers to those questions also. Just out of the blue Gil owns the Bistro?
