When Holly suggested to Eric to have a DNA test on Baby Jude done, to allay to Nicole, that Jude wasn’t hers. It turned out that baby Jude wasn’t hers, but when Kayla had used EJ’s blood & it came back that Jude wasn’t Nicole’s at all, I think that the blood that was used was Eric’s blood, not EJ’s, because if they had used EJ’s blood, they would have informed EJ & get his permission to use the blood that they have for that DNA test, right? When they had discovered that Jude at that time wasn’t Nicole’s, tells me that Eric wasn’t a match, showing that EJ is a match, because remember, Kayla didn’t get EJ’s permission to use that the hospital still had at that time, so you tell me as to how Eric is the father & not EJ, given that what Eric had used showed the child wasn’t his, if they had used EJ’s, they would have needed to get permission to use, right?

Here’s what happened. Nicole took her toothbrush to match it to Jude. Stupid Kayla comes in and says the baby isn’t Nicole’s because they tested the baby’s DNA against EJ’s which was already on file. Since the writing has planned for the Jude to be Nicole’s and Eric’s, we’ve known that the DNA doesn’t match and never would match EJ’s. They have never tested baby Jude’s DNA with Eric’s because we all know that the only way it would match was if the mother was Nicole. They didn’t need to get EJ’s permission for DNA because it was already on file.

But EJ not knowing about the DNA Test done at that time, it doesn’t matter that EJ’s was already on file, with EJ not knowing about the DNA test at that time, would Kayla be in any position to use what is on file given that EJ never knew about that test?

Yes, Kayla screwed up big time on the DNA testing. She should have gone the direct route and tested Nicole’s DNA against Jude and there would have been a match, rather than testing EJ’s DNA which is an indirect route due to the mistaken assumption he is the father of Jude.
