I hope there’s more to this than was revealed today. So we learned Clyde was an abusive (gee,really?) dad and Jordan took her bro and ran away with him. And that she stole – likely to survive. The only thing I can think of is J&B witnessed Clyde murder their mother and he wants to silence them? Otherwise, all these years later why would they still be running?
I got the impression Clyde is after whatever it was of his that she stole. I’m thinking maybe Clyde was into some sort of criminal activity back in the Ozarks, and Jordan took little brother Ben and daddy’s dirty money and got the hell out of dodge, and he’s there to get it back. The guy is definitely into something crooked; he wouldn’t even tell Kate today exactly what it was he did for a living — something like “a little of this; a little of that,” so he’s hiding something big, and his kids know what it is. Better watch it, though, Clyde. Little Ollie isn’t little anymore. And Kate, I wouldn’t be purring over this just yet. When Rafe finds out what you’ve done, you can kiss your a$$ goodbye.
I’m still not really interested in what they are hiding from. It was wayyyyyy to blown out of proportion IMO, for what we heard yesterday.
Kind of like weeks about hearing about the huge summer gala, only to have NOTHING come out of it. Such a disappointment Days has become. Running out of gas, and money I’m thinking, on the way to it’s 50th.
so I’m guessing Ollie is his biological son. Not that it makes any difference. He was obviously pretty young when they ran away, since Clyde reminded Jordan she took a ‘minor’ over the state line. Plus, my intuition was right about them (or I should say Jordan) stealing his dirty money. Wish I could hold more interest in them, but I still can’t get excited about their story yet.
terror I had expected from the buildup of this SL? That Jordan had all those fake I.D.s and their past was so dire she couldn’t possibly tell Rafe, etc. So far the payoff is not matching the expectations. I do wonder though if Clyde is not J’s biodad if maybe he didn’t sexually abuse her? That would at least add to her fear of him.
But the way the sibs reacted to Clyde wasn’t exactly trembling in their boots.
