is Days really lagging? Lately, I’ve found myself restless and easily distracted. One glaring point for me is Day’s continual reluctance to stick with couples. Rafe goes from Sami to Carrie to now rescuing Nicole? The guy hasn’t had a job in how long and he’s just hanging around being with whoever girl is in need.
And this limbo land for Jack and Jenn who lack the spark of the past.
Then we have the embarrassment of Austin who continues to slide downhill. His conversation today with Jack made him look so pathetic.
Days appears to me like a show without clear direction.I agree, but I put a post on the annex board, it’s under the “Kate really said that” or something along those lines. It has been really dull, today was the first day in a long time that I almost enjoyed the whole show, not necessarily the SLs but the acting. Rafe and Nicole were my fav today. Ej and Kate hit a new low. I was cheering when rafe punched his lights out.
how long does it last? Most of us thought Rafe was exactly the type of guy Sami needed. If Days doesn’t care enough about the couples they put together then why should I? I guess I’m just tired of the expendability factor.
regardless of the storylines involved. It’s as if there is a "build-up" period leading into sweeps that they tend to go through. Why, I could never figure out. I realize it must be hard to write every single epi as those during sweeps; however, they also should not drag on day after day with the same dialogue, repeated flashbacks, and the same deja’vu feeling like, didn’t we just see that happen??? I know they have to build up stories leading into sweeps, so I’m hoping things move a little faster starting next week. I’m hoping some of the current stories will wrap up before May sweeps month even gets here, though, which PLEASE, if there is a soap god in Hollywood, let the first one be Alamania, and get John and Hope home. I do not feel the need to rehash PG and the Pawn, and I’m thinking if they can’t write better stories for Joe Moscolo than rehashing old ones, then maybe it’s time for him to go.
