It’s like – do you watch the show?  LOL…     She’s been the same Sami Brady from the day Roman found her on the doorstep.  Sure she’s evolved a bit – she’s not nearly as SCHEME oriented as she used to be.  And that, in it of itself, is good…  You can’t have someone manipuliate the way they did 16 years ago – that writes the character into a corner and forces the writers to create an exit (Vivian – Kristen etc.)

However… she has ALWAYS been a bull in a china shop.  She always flies off the handle… That is what makes Sami Brady SAMI BRADY!!!  Love her or hate her she is consistent.  Sure, you can argue that she should "mature" by now but who wants a mature Sami?  Who wants another snooze fest character (Jennifer – Brady – Hope etc.) who is either TOO sensible or too easy to fool?  I certainly don’t.  I think a lot of people feel like watching Sami is boring b/c she hasn’t matured (in their opinion.)  I personally think the writers keep her true to her core and I love that.  I think A. Sweeny has a lot to do with that honestly.

I would love to see her scheme a bit more, but on an adult level.  Let her and Kate go at it but on a PROFESSIONAL corporate level.  Sami is at her best when she’s being BAD.  But I love when they give her a chance to be vulnerable which is why I love her scenes with Will.  He’s always been her soft spot.

Whatever they do, I will always love A. Sweeney’s portrayl of Sami – she is a MAJOR part of why I became a daily viewer in the early 90s.  I was a young teen and so was she and she just captivated me.  I waited on line 3 hours to meet her when she was in NYC and lemme tell you that line was worth it :)

    SAMI & EJ FOREVER!!!

in the third paragraph is what I would wish for. Sami could be a real force to reckon with on a professional level. Maybe a little more wickedly crafty and a shade less kneejerk loudmouth Sami. But I wouldn’t want her to lose her fire, for sure.
