How serious does Salem take some crimes vs. the other? – Salem Place

EJ won’t tell Sami what Gabi did b/c Chad would go to jail for beating up Nick… Chloe "didn’t press charges" against Abby for massaging her neck? Really?!?

I know there are a lot of crimes on the show that are not taken seriously that ARE serious (Kate poisoning etc.) And I get that it’s a soap…

But what’s the worst that could’ve happened to Abby if Chloe pressed charges OR if Chad was caught for kicking Nicks butt? I’m not a lawyer or a cop but C’MON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The worst thing would be some punishment and that would mean some reality to the show. We can’t have any reality.
