ParticipantI have to admit, watching Bo in this hellhole makes me soften a bit toward him.

ParticipantOf course they are trying to make him sympathic but that is because they are writing new material. The same is true with making Aiden the villain. I really don’t care because I was never a big Bo fan and I am even more a nay sayer.
I also don’t buy Steve the hero. All this time no one inSalem made any attempt to look for Bo. Now suddenly, Steve is the only one wh realized that his buddy is in trouble. I think he has a lot of nerve judging Hope when he abandoned Kayla and Joey years ago. Now he wants to be the hero and bring back Bo and make all right with the world. Perhaps he needs to get his own house in order.
I also don’t care for making Hope the "dummy" who got fooled by the bad guy. She is strong and very capable of takng care of herself. She doesn’t need a man to rescur her.

ParticipantFirst off, you are so very right about Hope not needing a guy to come to her rescue and I still hope she discovers Aiden’s true nature on her own. (But hey, doesn’t father know best?!)
I also totally blame Steve for abandoning Kayla and Joey, but it’s tough to blame him for wanting to get to the bottom of Bo’s disappearance since, as you say, no one else in Salem ever thought anything fishy might be up. That was so unrealistic.September 10, 2015 at 1:07 pm #48315Patti
Participantmay have been broken beteen Hope and Bo, but it certainly was NOT on Bo’s part. He still can detect when she’s in trouble, and she is about to get a plateful.

Participantto understand the reasoning behind the writing, so I don’t mind that they are are using Steve as Bo’s ESP tourguide. As for Hope, she is convinced Bo is long-gone and never coming back, and that after a very long time, she has finally found love again; but, when she is alone and thinks of Bo, she is able to see that Steve, knowing Bo as well as he does, just might have something there. I’m not a Bope lover, never have been, but I must admit I am loving everything about the show so very much right now that I find the Bo/Hope/Aiden sl to be, simply put, just another part of the visceral connection to DOOL that I have been missing for years.
