I’m headed up to his restaurant shortly for dinner!
His family has owned the Woodbridge Inn in Jasper since 1976. Hans and Amy bought the Inn recently from his parents. The Inn is about 30 minutes north of here and since I don’t get out much, I’ve never been there before, but I’m looking forward to it.
I’ve joked for years how Hans "owes" me dinner after all the SP gang voted for him at my urging, during Food Network Star… and of course he got sick right after that series, and it’s been this and that and I’ve been busy…well tonight is the night.
He also wants me to prepare a quote for a new aquarium in the restaurant – there are 2 there now (or there were) but he wants to replace them with one great big one! Happy to oblige him there – that’s how I met Hans, he’s been a client of mine forever.
*Technically* he owes me a Fettucini Alfredo dinner – but that’s not on the menu – but I’m sure I’ll be able to figure out something to have
I’m really looking forward to it
