Don’t you think that it’s odd that Allie gets to vocalize her goodbyes to Chanel, but they refuse to allow Sonny & Will vocalizing their goodbyes to anyone?
Then this: Where’s the story for Jake to know all of this, meaning, that Kate, Kayla & Marlena are alive & well much less knowing about what Nick had done to shove the three to the bowels of Hell?
This is too reminiscent of what they had done on Diagnosis Murder, a young doctor’s research as him learning of the deadly effects new medicine would cause & with the new medicine being put on the market & the people behind it all, had gotten every Star Trek Franchise actors to play up how the young doctor is mentally disturbed by resorting to theatrics to show it.
The main question that I have is that with how Kristen stole the orchid from Rolf’s lab, moved it to the Di Mera tunnels, & then made off with it & give the illusion that she had no clue that someone had gotten there first to steal it back & then used it to bring all three women back from the dead & yet allow everyone under the son to believe that they died to the pathogen & let the three women think that they are dead before Jake tells them that they aren’t dead & then show where their bodies are now, don’t you think that this is the straw that broke the camel’s back?
I just saw that Sonny’s last official day is March 2. I assume that’s when he’ll say goodbye to family.
It’s not Kristen who took the orchid. It’s Megan Hathaway, Stefano’s daughter that everyone thought was dead. She is doing to Kate, Marlena, and Kayla, what she did to Bo (Which was seen in Beyond Salem 2). Basically they’re on ice until she chooses to cure them with that orchid.
When they play out the story involving the taking over of Titan, & that brings Vivian back into town, the question that I have is that the Sonny that I know would not allow Alex much less Stephanie to clean up for him, now would he? Yes, I know that he made the decision to join Will in NZ, I get that, but doesn’t it show that he cares very little for the family business, remember, he had put it out there sometime ago of Leo’s vengeance to Victor & Victor knows very well as to what Leo had done to Titan, wouldn’t you think that what better way to move on from Leo, & move on from Titan is to prevent Vivian getting Titan, when it isn’t even hers, given her prison time?
Then this, when it comes to Megan. Rolf may have seen the orchid when he stole the pathogen, Kristen took the orchid & moved it to her family’s tunnels, but how & when did Orpheus knowing of Megan for him to tell her about the orchid & where Kristen took it to, in order for Kristen & Brady to learn of its disappearance?
This regards to Eric & Brady. remember, as to what played out when Paulina kept the file that Sloan stole to use against Chanel by exposing it, by having Brady & Eric stealing the statement & taking it to Jade & Rafe, they still can’t get Rolf to sign it given that Brady & Eric stole it, right?
I’ll start from the end. I don’t understand what difference it makes if they take this statement to Jada and Rafe. Rafe knows everything in it. He presented it to Rolf, who almost signed it until Sloan came in. This is just the silliest storyline. It doesn’t even point to whom Sloan is working for, so why did Eric and Brady even go down this route? Very poor writing.
I am hoping the writing eventually addresses Orpheus’s connection to Megan because right now, we don’t know what it is. We also don’t know how Orpheus would have know where the hidden orchid was and how he’d know who took it. Again, this is poor writing that makes no sense.
Lastly, in regards to Sonny. He loves his family, but Will is his family too. He values his marriage. I think Sonny learned his lesson about living in one place when his spouse is somewhere else. They split once before when Will went to LA and had an affair with Paul. Then Sonny was put into a compromising position when he and Leo became friends this time, while Will was gone. I don’t know about you, but I grew up with a military dad, and married a military man. Every time the Army said we had to move, we all moved, no matter how short the time was. I’m not talking about deployments to war zones, just regular we need you to move to this place and take over this position. We all moved to VA for 9 months. It was just a school year for my kids, but I never thought, let’s stay in MN while daddy leaves to VA. Where one goes, we all go. I’m guessing that is what Sonny has decided. And good for him. Titan will survive without him, his marriage won’t.
Will Titan survive without him, given as to how Alex personifies Brady & how Victor’s one-time arch-nemesis felt about Brady’s playboy ways & with what Philip had done to Brady, then this, why not allow Ari to be with Sami, & Henry being take care of by Tripp, given the boy is his nephew, that way with Sonny staying for 3 months to take of Titan business & when it’s done, then go with Will for the last 3 months? The reason as to why I brought this up is because it was alluded & brought up by Allie when she issued her goodbyes to Chanel. Remember, back when Will was in L.A. & Marlena had brought up to Will over the phone of his Salem responsibilities coming first, so shouldn’t Sonny’s Salem responsibilities come first, yes, I know that he’s married, I get that, & I know that his husband should come first, but think about it, what happens when it comes out as to what Alex had done, meaning sexing up his sister-in-law, then have it to come out that he had a hand with what Leo had allowed Sloan to do to Chanel?
I think Marlena meant responsibilities to his husband. Again, Sonny is doing the right thing. Everyone knows who Alex is, if it’s a problem, that would have been mentioned when he was working for Titan, not the CEO.
It was mentioned when Alex was working for Titan then, remember, when Sonny was talking about sexual harassment in the office, Alex brought up ” you were serious about that”, When Marlena brought up Will’s responsibilities to his husband, may I remind you this, no one stopped him from going, by bringing up his responsibilities to his husband, no one even made an effort to Will about his responsibilities to his husband then, now did they & then play up those responsibilities once Marlena had called Will when they did nothing to prevent him from leaving with Sami?
But Sonny is going of his own volition. No one is telling him to go or not go. So what’s the problem? He has chosen to be with his husband.
I’m all for Sonny putting his husband first & going with him. I find it very, very commendable, What I’m bringing up is why not stick around for 3 months to take care of Titan business, making sure that Alex doesn’t tank it, perception wise, meaning as to how he slept with his own sister-in-law more than once, when she cheated on Chanel with him & when he participated in the three way, that won’t bode well with the people on the Titan board & it also won’t sit well with the people on the Titan board once Philly-boy comes back into play, you tell me as to who has the business sense once those two are out of Titan. I can’t see Vivian, given as to what she had done, she nearly costed Lani her life sometime ago, yes, Lani is no longer there, but this show has a history in playing up past sins every 5 seconds, now don’t they?
The Sonny/Will story in Salem has reached a natural ending, for now. No point in dragging it out. Best to let them both go to New Zealand, especially if both actors aren’t available full time. There are current/new storylines that need developing and/or taken off the back burner.
There maybe current/new storylines that need developing & or taken off the back burner, but the stories that need developing & front-running are way too flawed for the viewers to care about watching them, so why not give them stories that they want to see? Look as to where the ratings & the writing are now, & they think that the viewers want to watch the stories that are tanking the show?
