This is a two-fold:
When it came to the meal that Constantine had made for Maggie, & he brought up the name of the dish & he described it to her as a Greek lasagna, Moussaka, is the Greek equivalent of lasagna, so explain as to why he made up the name for the dinner that he had made?
Ex-General Hospital actress by the name of Kari Wuhrer, was in a film about giant man-eating tarantulas, the sound that a cat had made when it was being killed within the walls of the house he was kept in sounded exactly the way that Johnny sounded when he first sang for his wife back when his now wife was merely his ex-wife at that time, when he sang for his new wife to his in-laws, it was a huge 180, did someone sing for him?
I think they had him record it then lip sync it. That was a bad move on production because I liked the song, but it did have a weird sound. Carson Boatman has a very good voice and they should have let him sing that live, not dubbed over.
I don’t remember what Konstantin said was the name of the dish. I also can’t believe Maggie being married to Victor for so long had never had the dish. I’m ready for episodes with the real writers because Days seems to have scraped the bottom of the barrel for these writers.
If they had Boatman to record it & lip synch it, then explain as to why he didn’t sound like that cat killed in 8 Legged Freaks the way he had sang it for his wife in the square when at that time she was his ex?
All I can tell you is this has a lot to do with audio production. They did a bad job on it, but it wasn’t awful. I actually liked the song, I liked the lyrics, and hopefully we’ll see more of his talent on the show, but with better audio production.
It did look like Carson was lip syncing and they had audio problems. Too bad because he has a really nice voice with a country tilt. Google him or check him out on you tube for history and performances. I wish they would let him sing occasionally on Days without the lip sync. Of course they probably won’t since they haven’t let Chloe sing in years.
