So, is anyone watching Downton Abbey this season?  My husband says it’s getting "too soapy" for him, but my guess is that he will continue to watch it with me.  I still love it, suds and all.  I only wish I didn’t know what is going to happen in Season 4 (thanks TV Guide) because that dampens it just a little for me.  It’s like reading Days Ahead, except then I’d not have to watch at all.  With Downton, I still know and will still watch.  I love Maggie Smith’s zingers.

Oh yes, I’m watching!  I’ve been watching since the very first episode of Season 1.  I am absolutely obsessed with it!  I’ve said this before on here, that this is by far the best thing on TV, in my opinion.  Not a day goes by during the season that I don’t mention "Downton Abbey".  I own the first two seasons on DVD and after the new Sunday episodes, I watch the episode at least two more times during the week on the different PBS stations we have in Boston.  Not only is watching again just as enjoyable, but I pick up new things I missed since there is always so much going on.  I know what’s going to happen as well at the end of this season.  Wish it would be different!

In fact, my birthday was earlier this month and my sister (who is also obsessed with it) had a "Downton Abbey" themed birthday party for me.  It was awesome.  She decorated her dining room table in a beautiful linen tablecloth, had lots of flowers, candelabras, china, and tea cups.  And she made cucumber sandwiches!  My niece dressed up in a period costume.  We are going to have another Downton party soon.  Can you tell I love Downton?  I may need to attend "Downton Anonymous" soon .  LOL.

And since my name is Mary, they called me Lady Mary!!
