He’s no relation to her, saying that he and Nicole were even in a relationship is a stretch. Nicole went through four “true loves” just since Holly was born, Nicole has been off screen for a while and Holly is only two. Daniel was her one true love, then I think she had some feelings for Deimos, then Holly and Nicole ran off with Brady, not to mention Chloe had Holly for a good chunk of time. And Eric killed Hollys dad! How long has he even been sober? Does he have a job? Holly has gone through “parents” like nobody’s business. Where is the stability for this kid and why isn’t Maggie fighting harder to get it? I want to scream through this whole storyline! I don’t know who should raise her, but I’d get behind Brady or Chloe before Eric. Has Eric even spent any time with Holly? Even since Nicole died? She must be with a Nanny 90% of the time. When Eric said yesterday that he and Nicole discussed having a swing set or something, when would that have happened? He and Nicole were together a matter of hours Holly’s entire life!
for all the reasons you mentioned, and also because he is so volatile and unforgiving towards Brady. Yes, Brady is rash as well, but he certainly didn’t mean for Nicole to die. And, another thing that is driving me crazy is Sarah. She has known Eric for five minutes and yet jumps into situations that are none of her business (actually just like Brady does). I think Chloe and Maggie alone should solve the custody issue.
Chloe move into the K place and have both she and Maggie raise Holly. Give that kid some stability!
As for Sarah, yes, she’s been in town for ten minutes and already acting like a partner with Eric.Nicole has two living siblings. Why aren’t they even being considered? I think in a real situation like this, the child would go to next of kin. If both of her siblings chose not to be her legal guardian then maybe they would consider the letter she wrote and give custody to Chloe, who actually gave birth to her or Maggie who is her biological grandmother. I don’t think Eric could even enter the picture, especially since he had a drinking problem and actually killed Holly’s father.
I didn’t even want to mention her, I don’t know why she’s even fitting into all of this. Although, now that I think about it, maybe they’re setting her up to get custody. She’s Maggie’s daughter and Daniels sister, it sounds like she had some sort of friendship with Nicole offscreen. She’s pretty attached to Holly. It seems weird, but, maybe.
