Kate’s son and she hasn’t even talked to him. I guess I would have thought she would be quite excited that one of her kids is back in town for her to smother.
connected, I still thought the reunion was anti-climactic. When it comes to her kids, she’s all over them; but, it was a quick "hi, how are you" and then Austin was off to Carrie. Wasn’t what I thought it would be.

will be involved in this new Alice mystery? Since he is a Forenic Accountant and they are going to try to find out about the secret accounts that Alice had. Not sure what a forenic accountant does, but I think it is to investigate financial crimes. Could be a good storyline.
IIRC, before Austin left, he told her he never wanted to have anything to do with her again. Although I haven’t seen the show yet, (was in the hospital, see Brady Pub) if he has had no contact with her since he’s been gone, that would explain a lot. Although Lucas has told her the same thing, how many times? And he’s still lovey-dovey with her.
Black Financial Services? (Not sure I’d want to invest with a company with THAT name!) That’s something new. Me thinks there’s going to be a big financial storyline coming up in the future. Hmmmm…

only tells me he’s gotten older and his face looks a little thinner. Other than that, he’s the same old Austin I always loved. (Was his voice always that high?)
