I started watching in late 1966. I almost stopped during the possession and slasher storylines but stayed with it; don’t know why. Those were dark DAYS. Iguess I am addicted to it.
You, me and about a million or so other folks are addicted to "Days" – I’m still trying to figure out where the 300,000 folks went last week (was it Wednesday)? Did Wallymart have a big sale that day and I missed it – you’d have thought one of those folks would have said something?
Yes, we have all sat through some loo-loo’s of story lines over the years…I can’t say how many times I’ve said "this is it", or "I can’t watch anymore" but I’m still here too after all these years!
I graduated in June of 66, so that’s when I got to ‘watch’ although I knew all about DOOL as my stay-at-home Mom watched and she kept me filled in on who did what and said what to whom. You’ve got to appreciate how DAYS s/l’s were current with the times, way back then.
If you’ve never watched B&W TV (becuz that’s all there was), you’re a different generation than I.
