Holy crrap! I’m in San Francisco (wel, Mill Valley, atually) and freezinf by butt off. Tuesday it was 80 degrees but when I gut up the next morning it was only 60. My son and DIIL are laughing at me but, IT’S COLD!!
Santa Clara and Portola Valley for the graduation and party then, Sunday all day in San Jose so I guess I’m going to get blasted. Even so, 110 here doesn’t feel as bad as 92 (which it’s been for several weeks now) in Florida. It’s that damn humidity that really does me in. But, I came prepared for the hot weather but not this cold. However, we went to dinner on the pier last night and it was very pleasant and it’s much warmer today (thank you God!!!).
I’d like to have humidity, that way we’d have fireflies, I miss those (from when I lived back east). And in Florida too, (at least where I was born in the panhandle, it rains every 20 minutes for about three minutes from what I remember – it’s been a long time.
that hot. It got to 97 in Portola Valley (where the party was…outside!) so most were quite uncomfortable. One couple came down from Chico where it was 107. Going to San Jose today so hope it is a little cooler. Nobody here has A/C. Again, it’s cold here in Mill Valley at 7 am.
Ask to fireflies, I don’t think I’ve seen them since leaving WI, not even in IL. And, believe me, you DON’T want the humidity. It make 90 feel like 110 or more..
