This comes to KC’s Nurse King & BB’s Everett. I don’t know if I brought this up or not, but anyone under the moon who knows about the Internet Movie Database, once anyone types in their names & they see what was their first air-date, meaning when Nurse Whitley & Everett first stepped into Salem, you tell me exactly how their respective characters’ backstories took place, meaning, that Coles’ Nurse King came on the last week of May of 2023, showing the character was not concepted until December of 2022, now was she, & the same with Berris’ Everett, you see what I’m getting at?

The backstories were created in the minds of the writers to give the new characters a history and off of which to write the current stories.

But when their backstories never took place, was it necessary?

The backstories did take place for a character. They were created in the minds of the writers.

Imagine if Everett just showed up in Salem. He didn’t live in Seattle, he didn’t know or date Stef, he wasn’t Jada’s ex-husband, he is just a guy who is an investigative reporter. How boring that would be. As a viewer, I would be wondering what his story is. Why show up in Salem? A character’s (or a person’s) future thoughts, behaviors and actions are influenced by their past.

But what I’m getting at is as to when the character was conceived by the fertile minds of the writers, you revert back by using flashbacks to show the viewers their past history, meaning, putting the character with the events of their past, so the viewers would be able to see what went on back then, that’s what I mean. Think about it, Marlena put it out there that when Nurse King was a patient was when she was possessed, was she a patient, not until the writers conceived the story was after Marlena’s possession, this is what I’m getting at?
