So I already don’t like her – something about the actress bugs me.  Being friends with Claire doesn’t help either.  However – I do like that they made her British.  If you remember – when Stefan came to Salem (played by Tyler) he spoke in a British accent when Abby told him "why don’t you have an accent."  At least they remembered SOMETHING lol..   I guess she’ll have been his GF PRIOR to him coming to Salem and he was w/her after death/before returning.

And she’s cute. Sorry TFlo, no objectivity from me.

I know what bugs me about her– she was constantly putting the tip of her finger on or in her mouth.   drove me nuts.

which we can only expect if she’s connected to Claire, but as far as the actress is concerned, I loved her on Y&R where she played Janna Fisher, and I don’t think they ‘gave’ her a British accent, I believe she is British.  I agree about the finger to the mouth thing, though.  It’s a bit annoying.

I looked it up. She was born in England.

I ilke that they made her British… meaning they made the character of GWEN British.  I know she is IRL.  I find her incredibly annoying already tho.

Her finger in her mouth or biting her nails bothers me too.   it makes her appear nervous or unsure of herself.   Of course, maybe that’s what they were going for with Gwen.

Also, why does she have a British accent?   I’m having trouble getting used to it so I hope they have a good explanation for it.

That’s why she has a British accent.

on BBC and CBC and I have a hard time understanding them sometimes. I think it’s funny that British English and America English a be so different.

When I watch the Masterpiece Theater shows on PBS, I usually turn the closed captions on so I will know what they are saying.
