I never watched OLTL but my buddy was hard core into it… so i knew a few things and caught the lil nuggets from today’s show (Kassie and Robin’s first scene together.)
1 – Nu Viv to Eve "Your name starts with a B." Kassie was BLAIR on OLTL.
2 – Eve to Nu Viv "Maybe you can have a portrait – Dorian…." Robin was Dorian on OLTL
3 – When Nu Viv was dressed a doctor her badge said Dorian Crane which was her character on OLTL.
I know Ron C. wrote OLTL so I’m sure that was all him. OLTL fan or not – gotta love when soaps are self aware. LOL
so didn’t know about the connections made today between the characters. So cool, though! Thanks for pointing them out, TFlo. I’ll keep an eye out for others now.
but I did catch the reference of Dorian when Eve was talking. I didn’t catch it on the doctor’s uniform. That’s funny!
when they had Stefan refer to Vivian’s name on her doctor’s I.D. badge, which was Dr. Kramer. LMAO! Carlivati, you do have some wit about you.
On the down side, sorry Robin Strasser, but your acting has either diminished or you just can’t hold a candle to the personality Louise Sorel has as Vivian Alamain. Loved you in OLTL, but some replacements just don’t work
Louise was so elegant as Vivian – vicious, but so smooth about it. This Vivian is kinda like a cartoon. Kinda like Kristin now too – Stacy is fine as an actress but nu Kristen is just too "cheeky" now. Meh!!!!
Please don’t put us through that crap again. And besides, the character has to be in her 50s now. Ugh!
this is going to happen. Otherwise I can’t think of why it would be brought up. And of course right when Eric and Nicole are ready to walk down the aisle, Xander will blurt it out.
Plus Kristen is supposed to not be able to bear kids, right? But we’re supposed to forget about that!
