Whoever is writing her lines, knows nothing about Days! Julie was a home wrecker! She stole Susan’s husband from her way back when. Julie was no saint! To have Julie lecturing Rafe is just mind boggling to me.
Also, where is the real conversation Shawn should be having with Hope? Did everyone forget that Belle slept with Phillip when she and Shawn were separated? I don’t find that to be much different from what happened with Rafe and Hope.
I wish writers would take the time to read up in some Days history before they have characters speak and make fools of themselves to long time viewers.
Didn’t he father Chelsea with Billy? Hope and he got past that and Hope has been involved with other men and they got pass that. I was so uncomfortable watching Julie verbly beat a broken man, I do not like self-rightous hypocritical bullying. And Doug going on about his little girl, She is a grandmother and well into her 50’s and a strong enough woman to manage for herself
it’s what makes me want to throw up my hands at a certain point and say, "I need a break from this." It’s disgusting to watch and hear when you are an old-timer (like so many of us are on these boards), but we watch…day after dayafter day. The complaints will do nothing about the writing, because this is the norm for ALL soaps. This is why we see writers come and go so often …. no one seems to have a well established enough writer’s brain to come up with new ideas for soaps; one that hasn’t been used and ones that fans like us haven’t seen or heard hundreds of times. Honestly, I do believe that the fans could easily write these stories much better than soap writers, who don’t know what’s going on around them in the present let alone what happened in the past. "OI, I THINK I NEED ANOTHER BREAK."
