I do – i like Rafe being in a coma. I have never really been fond of his character nor did I ever like him with Sami. I’m sorry to see him back.
They could’ve kept him in a coma with Jan Spears… Actually at least Jan (the 2nd Jan not the 1st) was fun to watch. Remember Shawn in the cage? LOL
one way or the other on him and Kate together. But then Rafe has been written quite blandly for me for some time now. I loved him when he came on – very charismatic and dynamic. Now he could leave and I wouldn’t miss him.

I do not like Kate and Rafe together, but I do like the softer side of kate that they are writing for her now,she is not as big of a B–ch. but I have always liked Rafe I do not like the Sl they have him in,because he is doing NOTHING.
But not with Kate! He needs someone better. Heck, he’d be hot, hot, hot with Nicole! They actually would be interesting together.
and certainly not with Sami. I do, however, see good chemistry with Hope, and wish they would put them together at some point, since it’s obvious that Peter Reckell is not returning, unless these ridiculous PsTB continue to sit on their hands and not kill Bo off so that a wonderful actress like Kristian Alfonso can move Hope into bigger and brighter things for her future. I think their dynamic of two police detectives working together at the Salem PD has proved interesting in past storylines, and I would love to see Rafe and Hope as a couple sometime in the near future.
I think you’ve hit on it for me. The "softer side of Kate" is what’s attracting me to them being together. I like Kate. I like Rafe. The two of them getting together has had me slightly confused but I’m okay as long as see it as some sort of a transition thingy. More for it getting Rafe to completely forget all feelings for Sami! I hope they give him a meaty story soon.
