I must admit that I really slacked off this season, I don’t know who I want to win tonight, I have loved jessica from the start, but I totally LOVED Phillips last song. I didn’t watch the whole show, but his final song was so awesome! so I don’t know! ts bees while since a girl has won.
because I’m so used to Idol Wednesday, forgot it was Tuesday this week. ITA with the judges on that cheesy first record for Jessica. Just too generic, though I can’t fault Jessica – she did about as much with it as possible. But it just may have hurt her.
On the flip side, Phil’s record song was outstanding! For the first time I did not see Dave Matthews or Joe Cocker but Phil with superb potential. I LOVED that song – so subtle and wistful and kind of Gaelic/Celtic feel to it.
Phil just might take the title.some viewers since they put it on last night rather than Wednesday. Wonder why they did that? I like Jessica; she has an incredible voice, but I keep thinking of who I would listen to after Idol is over. For me, that would be Phillip. I hope he takes the crown!
Agree. Jessia has a great voice but she sounds like so many others out there where Phillip has his own style and I loved that last song he sang.
I wasn’t impressed with either one of them, but like Randy said, at this point it doesn’t matter much. On another point, Phillip is supposed to go into the hospital right after the finale, because his kidney is failing again. I wish him well. This was posted on the Comcast Infinity News Bulletin Board. Evidently his doctor(s) recommended he go in weeks ago, but he refused to quit the show. Get well, Phillip. No singing title is worth your life.
