Just wondering what she’ll be doing now that Doug’s Place is Julie’s now. Also wondering who they’ll attempt to put her with because Days has a habit of doing that.
Adrienne must have had a severe injury, but though she was ok. She got out of the car and then collapsed.
Now we have to wait until Monday. I loved Sonny giving Gabi hell. She is still insisting she had every right to do what she did. The girl has no remorse. Even if she wiggles her way out of prison, which you know she will, every one in town knows what she did. She will be ostracized beyond belief. I don’t see how Will and Sonny would even want her near Ari. She’s a horrible role model to her daughter.
I am very much looking forward to Maggie remembering she was behind the wheel. Howeve, the one thing that confuses me is that Maggie’s car was also wrecked. How did she not notice that the next day? Does Victor have a body shop on speed dial that miraculously pulled her car out and fixed it in just a matter of hours? Seriously, I ask myself this every time they show this flashback.
Did Rafe say something to Ciera about assaulting the police commissioner? When did that happen? Did Rafe become commissioner by default?
I felt badly for Lauren. She really needed to be resting her voice and boy did she have a lot of line!
I have no idea where Kayla is hiding with Steve.
The terrible acting was on purpose because Julie knew about the app and then she had to fake having a heart attack. So basically, an actor who acts as a profession, had to act like they were a novice/bad actor. But I agree about letting Gabi stand there with the phone, although since Julie knew what was up, I could see letting it play out. How else would Gabi have been proven guilty in front of everyone. That said, Lani could have done this at her wedding and saved us all from having to see this fiasco.
One of my kids was home from college and one in high schoo was home. They were actually surprised by Gabi’s dress. We all agreed that had the dress been long or even long with a slit, it would have had a very Art Deco look. It would have been like old Hollywood glamour. But the short, skin tight, club dress was yuck! Also, my high schooler asked me if anyone ever gets married on this show. She’s never seen a wedding completed. I had to think about that, and she’s right. Every wedding is interrupted. When they do get married, it’s usually small and quiet. Non of the hoopla that’s planned for the real wedding.
I record the show, so I ff’d through all of that. There was really no point to it. I just wanted to see Gabi get her unhappily ever after. Don’t worry about Julie.
It is truly the most stupid and Un-creative storyline ever. And what’s the purpose? At least the first time around Stefano was trying to get John and Gina to go back to stealing artwork.
That Brandon Barash could possibly be Stefan’s twin. I’m not sure that is the plan, but it certainly seems Vivian would know if she had twins. I will watch until the show is dead, or I’m dead. I stuck with it through the JER days and I absolutely hated his writing. I wasn’t a fan of Passions so I couldn’t get into his bizarre stuff. The biggest mistake Carlivati made was bringing this Gina and Stefano story to the screen. The time jump doesn’t bother me, but this useless story with Hope and Steve thinking they’re Gina and Stefano has me hating scenes with either of them in it.
Casey Moss chose to leave and we’ve known for months that he was not returning, which is why I’m so damn mad that they killed Haley off. They could have left her on and had her ride off into the sunset with JJ. Honestly, she fell down stairs and died, Jennifer fell off a balcony and lived!
I don’t think they had any storyline for Will and Sonny, so letting them go for now is sad, but where were they going? On the other hand, when Galen leaves, who’s going to be working in the cop shop? Please tell me not Hope! She’s horrible!
My mom is almost 88. We’ve watched Days together since I was 4, in 1967! My mom would miss Days and she’s just not tech savvy enough to handle streaming or watching online. These last few weeks when it was pre-emoted for politics, she relied on me to tell her what happened. My mom is not the only one. I’m sure that’s what brought down the other two soaps that went to streaming only. My MIL watched AMC and she barely knows how to turn on a computer. I don’t think they realize they have a huge older generation audience who just isn’t capable of watching any other way but on TV.
Hope should go! I’m sure Eli and Gabi will get back together and go back to the police force. They do need more people working there, but I don’t know who. Maybe Ciara.
Reminded me of the scene between Mrs. Weasley and Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Rather predictable line.
Was a bit comical. Honestly, the less I see of Hop/Gina, Marlena/Hattie, Steve/Stefano, and John, the better! All of those scenes are quite laughable. Can I also add, Kate’s scenes were awful too. Why did she sit there and try to rationalize everything Rafe said, then say I have a confession, Steve is Stefano? What the hell? Why didn’t she just say that from the get-go?
