I think the goal was to ruin Chanel. I still think that’s the goal. First poison half the town so that her beloved business is destroyed, then have her fall for Talia only to have Talia break her heart, and from the previews I’ve seen, lastly a plan to kill Paulina. That would totally destroy Chanel and make her suffer in the way Colin has decided Chanel destroyed him and Sloan.
Looks like this coming week, Abe and Paulina will run into Colin and Sloan is going to tell Jada about him. I think this storyline is going to wrap up soon. I’m truly hoping Colin will get arrested along with Talia and both will go to jail. I think both are fine actors, but seriously, where do you go with these two vengeful characters that have no other purpose in Salem? I don’t even see how Talia could practice medicine. I wouldn’t want her to be my doctor.

April 16 is when we first saw Colin. I think most of us assume he and Talia came together, but he was staying at the seedy motel. Just because you don’t see a character on the show until a certain day, doesn’t mean they haven’t been in town. They do that often with characters.
First, the main responder is me. I always reply, if I feel it’s worth saying something. Sometimes, it isn’t, so why just rattle off crap just so you can see a reply?
Second, Talia is a complicit liar. She made up the story of the bad boyfriend in order to cover her tracks. It was obvious she knew Colin, but she needed cover. So she makes up a story about going over there and sleeping with him. Colin says he read about it because he’s been in Salem quite a while. He was in Salem when the biscuits were drugged. Now do I think he read about it? NO. We all know he knew about it because he was the person who planned it. But anyone he says that too could believe him because he’s been in town a while.
As for the situation with Gabi, Stephan, and EJ—CB is the only one leaving, as far as I know. BB is staying, so maybe there are plans for a re-cast. I certainly don’t understand bringing Stephan back from the dead and reuniting him and Gabi only to have Gabi leave and Stephan be by himself. I think a re-cast would be best, but who knows what the writers will do.
Nothing makes sense in this storyline. I totally give up. Glad Talia is going to confess next week and Sloan is going to discover her brother is in town.
Marci Miller doesn’t live in LA. She has a young child. Days chose not to try and work out a schedule that would work for her, so I get her leaving. I chose to stay home with my children when they were little and I have no regrets. I think I would have regretted giving the best of me to my career and miss all the important milestones with my kids. Why criticize a woman for making a choice? If you want to criticize, criticize the powers that be at Days. They could have worked with MM or they could have re-cast Abigail. Instead they chose to kill off the character.
I find the bigger problem is that Brady is clueless when it comes to parenting. He has no rules, no consequences, not expectations of his bratty child. And every freaking person on this show makes excuses for her. Remember the day she took Brady’s phone, called an Uber, skipped school, and went to visit her mom in prison? What was this little brat’s punishment? Brady took her to the pub for ice cream! That kid would be on a short leash, if she were mine. And I would lay down the law, I’m going to have a life, my whole life is not going to be said bratty child. Also, he has full custody of Rachel. After the stunt she pulled, I’d tell her that’s it, you will not see your mother again because she is poisoning you against anyone I’m involved with. As you can tell this whole Rachel is in charge storyline really bothers me. So no, Brady is not a good dad.
I’d love to know how Talia ever became a doctor. She’s got sh!t for brains! Seriously, she’s with this creepy Colin and doing things she’s not comfortable with and I’m sorry, they whole thing is making me nauseous. She is not smart enough to be a doctor because anyone who is a doctor would know better than to stay with creepy Colin, poison a whole town, and seduce a woman she’s not into, but likes as a friend, all so her psycho boyfriend can get revenge. And by the way, I thought Chanel told Talia about what really happened, how Colin’s mother lured her up to the roof to kill her. Did I imagine that?
Camilla now lives in Tampa, FL. From her statement, she is a gone girl. She is not working without a contract. She stated that they could not come to an agreement. She wanted to be onscreen less and Days said no. Also, she and her husband are planning to start a family so flying between Tampa and LA is too much of a strain on her. Lastly, she has signed a contract with a Florida based talent group, so I don’t see her sticking around with Days after the contract is done.
My only question is what will happen with Stefan and Gabi. Will BB’s contract expire and they ride off into the sunset, or will they break them up and just have Gabi leave, or will they re-cast Gabi? I have heard anything beyond CB’s leaving, but I’m sure we’ll hear something soon.
What are you talking about? What does Charlotte Ross have to do with this? And what do characters (not real people) have to do with the character of Harris Michaels on Days of Our Lives? There’s no pretend Navy SEAL school that they all went to. Their characters are separate from one another.
It’s not related. A million things happen on others soaps, theyre not related to what happens on Days. BTW, the story of Hope being involved with a Navy SEAL, was thought up a very long time ago. When KA left the show, they had pitched her taking a 6 month hiatus and returning involved with a Navy SEAL.
I am not a fan. I agree, why would an educated physician allow this piece of garbage to treat her like this? None of that makes sense. I also feel as bluebonnet does that maybe he knows something Sloan doesn’t. I hope we get some more background on him. I don’t understand why he is knowingly making his sister look guilty. That doesn’t make sense to me.
