Two things make me think she’ll be back in the future. First, Eli said she’d be eligible for parole around New Years. Second, Lani told Abe she didn’t know when she would see him again, but she hoped it would be soon and she reiterated that she’d be back. So hopefully that is in the works, without a re-cast.
Just my opinion, they should have let the baby be EJ’s. The writers do everything possible to put Eric and Nicole together and I’m not interested. I really like EJ and Nicole together. I think Sloan will have a miscarriage and then Eric will find out he still has a baby with Nicole and they’ll be reunited—-boring! I’m so over this.
First, you don’t have to be rude. I meant with Stefan still in Salem and Vivian’s return. I think if you had re-read that, you’d understand what I meant.
I don’t think any of this has anything to do with James Scott leaving Days. He actually left acting all together. And I seriously doubt that the character of EJ Demira and all that EJ goes through, has anything to do with either actors real life.
I think the difference is a lack of storyline for Lani and Eli. Unlike Gabi, who has a lot of storyline left, especially with Stefan and Vivian’s return, Eli and Lani are kind of just there. Lani will no longer be able to be a cop so would we really want to watch her raise twins while they figure out something for her?
I don’t even care if the story is supposed to be true that she has mental issues. A lot of people go through a lot worse and they don’t kidnap people and then try to kill themselves with the person they kidnapped. I wish Days would quit perpetuating the everyone’s a victim story.
I don’t believe Gabi will be killed off. When Abigail was killed and when Will was killed, there was a lot of backlash. No one liked Guy Wilson, but the character of Will being killed was not a positive thing for Days. I still believe Gabi will go away for a few months, and come back with a new look.
I saw yesterday that there is a casting call out for a Hispanic female in her mid-thirties, who is comfortable showing her body. Sounds like they are planning to keep the Gabi character, but there may be a break. So I’m thinking she might go to see Ari, and come back a different person.
I think so many things are wrong with this storyline. Go back to Lani talking to Jerry. How many more ways could Jerry say Nurse King kidnapped Abe and he’s still alive. It took forever for the lightbulb to go off. Going to yesterday’s show, yes, they all moved at a snails pace. I cannot for one minute believe that Nurse King is that nimble and strong that she was able to “kill” Lani and drag her body to the docks before the US Marshall, Rafe, and Jada got there? Unless Nurse King’s apartment is above the docks and she threw her out of a window, there’s absolutely no way that could have happened.
In my opinion, this whole storyline has been a complete disaster. I am on a few boards and in groups and haven’t heard anyone say they are loving this storyline. Nobody is enjoying it. Yes, it puts Abe in the spotlight, but aren’t there a hundred other ways to do that than to make him a zombie in someone’s apartment.
And I’m sure the show is trying to make Nurse King a victim of Marlena’s bad therapy, but please! There are a lot of people who don’t get any counseling for grief and they don’t become kidnappers and murderers. Days needs to quit making excuses for bad behavior. We just went down that with Jada’s sister. She was in an abusive relationship so we give her a pass for drugging the whole damn town and terrorizing a family. Enough already! No more excuses. Take some damn responsibility and quit making everyone a victim.
My question is why you can’t suspend disbelief to believe an event took place in a character’s back story before a character was on the show? When Days started nearly 60 years ago, every character had a back story. The show wasn’t even on air before then. It is no difference for Trask to have a back story before her character appeared on screen. Remember the daughter she had that lived in China? We didn’t have Trask’s character when she got pregnant, but we go the story later. We also know Trask is divorced without ever having seen her ex-husband. Every character comes to the show with a back story that will develop as the character is onscreen more often or becomes a bigger part of the show. If Trask only popped on to be DA, there would be no back story. I have a feeling, she is going to be around more often and there are plans to put her and Li Shin together, despite the bad date.
How old is Dimitri supposed to be? It seems that he would have been born around 1990 or so. Is this to say that Oskar knew that Megan was alive? Or was Megan alive and pretending to be someone else? Did Oskar know Megan before they got together, or did he not meet her until after her supposed death. There are few questions out there. My bigger question is why the writers just wrote Megan escaping on a sub? Why couldn’t they just kill her again. I didn’t miss her the past 40 years, I know wouldn’t miss her again if she were dead.
It makes no difference if Trask existed when the trip happened. It’s a memory we don’t have to see. It just adds to her story and makes her more interesting.
They’ve already been down the Chad, Stephanie, Alex road before—then Kayla “died.” It’s getting old. Alex needs to move on and Abigail needs to come back to life. Stephanie should go back to Seattle. She is an extremely dull character. Beautiful woman, but I see nothing in her personality that makes me want to see her with any character. She’s kind of like another Allie. Very pretty, but she really has no chemistry with any other character. She’s just there.
