Vivian used to be a deliciously fun to watch villain in her days with Ivan. But Days has once again managed to screw up a great character. She has become quite pathetic in recent weeks, and now this embarrassing sarcophagas biz. The way she was going on w/Vic and Maggie was sad and absurdly silly.
Of course, do we need two guesses to see where this is heading – another buried alive story?Although I haven’t been watching the show in recent days (ever since I read about what’s gonna happen to my beloved EJ) – from what I saw in past weeks – the Vivian character (whom is one of my all-time favs on the show) has been chipmunked up, and made into a complete joke! Ugh! I so don’t like this. Why can’t the writers give her a more mature, sane and semi-commical role on the show? Why must she always have to be the crazy lady, who’s always out for revenge? I mean, even villans such as Kate, Stefano and Victor have had seasons of "calmness."
I still say the writers need to write her an official/sheer/true love interest! SCREW VICTOR! What’s the harm in coupling her up with either EJ (my top pick), or Roman (a man who can sure use a little romance in his life), or, heck, just put her with ‘NuIvan" guy!
Why did Victor marry Viv?? I didn’t watch the show for awhile and when I started back they were married. It is obvious that Victer doesn’t want to be married to her. Is she blackmailing him or what? Thanks!
lately, as you’ve mentioned, she is just a "joke". I was so happy when they brought her back. The writer’s and the show are misusing a really good actress…I would love for her to pair up with Ivan again and have they both wreak havoc on Salem again like they did in the old days! Heck, even pair Vivy up with Nicole (not romantically) but in a bad-girly-girl get revenge, love and respect all at the same time story line. I’d watch those two!
in order to keep Vivian from killing Carly who was hot and heavy with Bo and Bo said he was going to kill Vivian if she messed with Carly, so to keep that from happening, Victor married her. He’s regretted it since the second he said "I do".
