ParticipantWhat is it with this show and the color purple?? Kate, Maggie, stephanie and Adrienne. usually EJ and Stef have some shade of purple. Stef’s entryway is purple. Dont get me wrong, I love the color purple, it just seems to be ALOT of it. not a fan of Caroline’s bright pink jacket. now let has a shade of purple on! LOL. Roman there’s another one!
Kate’s hair looked better today, that blue streak of hair on the right side didnt look as noticable today. I just dont get that one, one streak of blue on the side? HUH? whatever.
Sorry I had to rant about Purple! Hell even I painted my kitchen purple when I lived in TN!

Participantto Frances Reid. I don’t know if it’s true though. Does anyone know if Frances Reid’s favorite color was purple?

ParticipantDon’t know about her favorite color but I do know the color purple is used to signify death in the church, at least the catholic church. The one I grew up in use to hang a purple banner in front if a priest of nun died and the priests would wear purple robes.

Participantpurple can symbolize pain, suffering, and therefore mourning and penitence. It is the liturgical color for the Season of Lent. It is also the color of royalty, so traditionally has also been used for Advent and is still used in Catholic churches. However, Blue is replacing purple for Advent in many Protestant churches.
It could be just the new hot color for 2010 and the actors are keeping up with the fashion scene, either way, the color is bold and nice looking.
