Since they said it was a surprising twist, I was thinking maybe it was Kate? You know how much she dislikes Chloe and would NOT want Philip to have a baby with her, so maybe she found out and switched them??
I think it is Carly because she said today that she was so happy that daniel could be with his child from the beginning.
Kate sounds like a good candidate since she tried it before with Lucas and Sami’s twins. If I remember she talked or blackmailed Nick into falsify the test to EJ was the daddy to both of them. BUT she was never part of this and supposedly nobody but Chloe, Phillip, Nathan, Stephanie and Carly knew about the possibility that Phillip might be the daddy but that’s never stopped the writers before and Kate does know everything that goes on in that town.
Caroline has no clue as to what is going on with Chloe and Phil or any of that group does she?? She doesnt make sense, my bet is either Carly, and I could even buy it’s Kate more than I could Caroline!
I don’t think Caroline has any time left to do anything else but TAKE CARE OF HER GRANDCHILREN. My bets on the ditzy nurse at St. Mary’s making the mistake and then catching it seconds later. That way Mel makes such a big deal over the paternity of the baby (which is Daniels) and ruins her fathers happiness, still drama!
for those who are wondering just how Caroline could possibly be the switcher, please read the spoilers I posted in the Annex (the topic is entitled "Interesting stuff")…you’ll clearly see why I believe it could be here after reading it.
But I can’t think of one thing Caroline has to gain from that. She has no connection to Daniel, Chloe, Philip or Melanie. Not only would it be a surprise, but it would make no sense.
