The LUMI interaction has been wonderful. I really wish they would go in that direction. I have always despised the character of EJerk. I want Susan to show up and take him away.
I totally agree, the only time I’ve really only liked Sami was when she was with Lucas. I never, ever cared for her and E.J. or E.J. in general. So I’m not looking forward to the return, but maybe the new actor will make me like him, we shall see. Nothing against James Scott, I just never liked the character.
I love Sami and Lucas, too. Every time they are on the screen together they are funny and very entertaining. I have thoroughly enjoyed having them back on together. Even if they don’t get together as a couple (which I wish they would), at least I hope they stay on the show and have lots of scenes together.
EJerk is evil to the core.
With all the injuries he had from the fire, to have him look perfectly normal is totally disingenuous. Too bad these celebrities are too vain to be realistic.I’m still amazed they finally did a recast, never thought they would given how popular (why I have no idea) James Scott was.
I think that due to the fact that James Scott made it very clear that he would never come back to “Days”, they had no problem replacing him. I also liked Lucas’ remark today when he said, “If I ever get shot in the face and burned in a fire, I want his plastic surgeon!” Great line!
Yeah I never understood the popularity of EJ and Sami other than the two actors had chemistry. All they ever did was fight, hurt each other and have sex. Great stuff to root for.
I can’t get used to this new EJ. He and Sami don’t go together, there’s no chemistry – he appears older and is too “stiff” or formal in his interactions with her and other people. I’ll go so far as to say that if this was the EJ Sami met years ago, she wouldn’t be interested in him. Also, the actor doesn’t look at all like I imagine the old EJ would look now after being shot, brought back from the dead, in an explosion etc.
