I had a feeling she was lying when she said she wasn’t pregnant. So where does the story go from here? I wonder if Stef suspects she’s lying?
We have two accidental pregnancies at the same time on the show. The writers need to keep their stories totally different unless they are going to converge somewhere down the line.I wish she’d just go get an abortion, but that won’t happen. I see this going a few different ways. One is Joy leaves and has the baby which several years down the line comes back and lets Alex know he/she is his child. Another option is Joy leaves has the baby and Johnny and Chanel adopt the baby because Mrs. Choi is not going to let them adopt Sophia’s baby. The worst thought right now, is Joy and JJ plot for him to claim the baby is his. I only say this because what was the purpose of her opening up to JJ? He was a complete stranger but she spilled her guts.
I don’t like that we have two unplanned pregnancies on this show and the one couple who wants to have a baby can’t. I cannot wait until RC’s writing is over and done with. My other hope is Joy leaves the show. I just don’t think anyone cares. I would rather have Chloe back.
I like your idea of Johnny and Chanel adopting Joy’s baby but she would have to leave Salem, yeah, for nine months and arrange for a private adoption. She would also have to keep the pregnancy a secret from Nancy. I imagine if Nancy were involved she’d want her to keep the baby.
I don’t see her having an abortion as Jada did. The purpose of that story was the impact on Eric who desperately wanted a child of his own. If Joy has an abortion I don’t see a follow up story, only a situation with a suitable ending for Stef, Alex, and Joy.
