EJ’s Point

The reason as to why EJ isn’t helping Stefan in getting rid of Clyde, when Stefan confronted EJ with it, is because Stefan knows what EJ once did for Clyde, he doesn’t want Paulina to know of that, that’s why he turned Stefan down. Then with him losing his child with Nicole, & then learning of Holly’s O.D., it hit too close to home for him because as to what he had done for Clyde, some time ago, that to his shooting then, when it came to Tate’s arraignment & bail, the D.A. has to sign off on it & okay it, with him not there at the arraignment to sign off on it, you tell me as how he’s at fault for denying the bail in being a done-deal?
