Think about it this way, with how Abe is related to the De Mira family, meaning, his late wife being one of them, & that Theo has a very special relationship with Chad, & with what Paulina tried to do the Town Square a while back & then her doing this, exposing to Abe that Lani was never his & who had put it out there, i.e. Chanel, Paulina’s daughter.

With what Chanel had done when she was with Xander & what did she did to her mother, & with her having access to the De Mira money, & what Chad had done with Gwen that resulted with him getting fired, can you imagine as to what Chanel would to her new husband’s family’s business ?
