They couldn’t get people like Bill, Sarah, and Alice to come back for this episode. So it is harder explain their absense during the funeral itself. But a small gathering Bill can be helping alice and so can Sarah. or people could be coming in and out of that small gathering. So I thought we got the best of both worlds. We didn’t have to deal with people like Bill not coming into town (because they were mentioned we know they did), but at the same time we got the funeral speaches. I personally loved how Days solved the issue and I loved that they got at least Melissa to come back. that was a great touch. I thought it was an amazing tribute to the character of Mickey and to the actor John Clarke.
