I agree with the degrees of claustrophobia. I have no problem being in enclosed spaces as long as I can move my arms or I’m not penned in. I couldn’t play any games when I was little where I was tied up such as cowboys and Indians where we pretended to tie someone to a tree. When going for an MRI I’m OK if I can keep my arms over my head and be able to move them but if I have to keep my arms inside where they don’t have the freedom to move I freak. Even if I don’t move them I can’t feel penned in at all.
