What I forgot to put in my initial post is, even though Melanie will want to be there for Maggie since she’s the closest thing to a mother she’s had I see her using this as a way to postpone the wedding. You can tell she doesn’t really want to go through with it and I’m sure she’d like a lengthy engagement but Phillip is rushing things which I don’t understand except he feels threatened by Nathan.
