Sooooooooooo agree with ya Casey! I don’t think the writer’s do SL’s of absolutely true love anymore…John and Marlena, Bo and Hope, Patch and Kayla, Maggie and Micky, Caroline and Sean, Mrs. and Mr. Horton…they all had their obstacals and overcame them.
I think most of us root for true love with our favorite couples on "Days" because statistically – with today’s depressing headlines in the news – it’s 50% or more of marriages end in divorce. It is nice to have the continuity and stability shown on t.v. of true and lasting love. And – Bo and Hope are the LAST forever long term couple – this is I think what makes us all mad.
I know it’s easier on the writer’s to write something about a breakup and trauma of a couple than write about a love that lasts (can’t get ratings that way). If they would just leave us one super couple…that would be a great Christmas present from the show.
Carley is 100% stupid and wrong at being portrayed this way. I like Carley because I can remember her from "the old Days" – pair her up with someone else – not Bo! And have Hope get a clue as to what she’s got! What is that old song say? "…you never know what you got until it’s gone…" She’d better wake up and smell the coffee at JAVA!
