First of all, the writing and acting for JJ’s scenes the past few days has been outstanding! I was in tears and really felt for him. I was also glad to see Gabi come and convince him not to do it and to get help. Very powerful writing for this holiday season when suicides increase. I hope it helped someone.
Second, who didn’t see Lani and Eli hooking up? The door to JJ’s room wasn’t even shut! I was disappointed that Lani ran to Eli and said JJ was undressed. He had a t-shirt and shorts on. Just a theory not a spoiler, Eli and Lani will quickly find out what almost happened and thoroughly regret and work hard to hide their secret.
Lastly, I really loved the scene with Abe and Jennifer. Those two show what experienced actors they are when given the opportunity. I hope Abe comes to his senses soon.
I’m rather sure it’s mandatory for officers to get counseling if they shoot someone but I may be wrong.
The way she so tactfully yet realistically laid out the truth to Abe about his shooting Brady was great to watch. And you just knew Theo would start to come out of it on Christmas. I do hate this “love the one you’re with” approach Days is addicted to. That couples break up over some misunderstood scene and go running to an ex.
Eli found out about Gabi, what he thought was the "truth" that she was sleeping with JJ and within 5 minutes was having sex with Lani (at least she had known, for what, 15 minutes … LOL) Absolutely no trust in their partners to check out what was going on and no taking time to process the loss of what they thought were serious relationships. Just "I feel bed, let’s have sex" This is not something I want to see.
LOVED the handling of JJ"s suicidal feelings and I loved Jen with Abe
