aka Carly Manning. Since her full name was disclosed during the ‘trivia’ commercial break yesterday, I wonder if this is a foretelling of something to come. Will Frankie be revealed (rewriting past history) again as Katerina’s long lost brother? Here’s a trivia: did you know that Ivan Marais (Vivian’s sidekick ‘Ivan’) played Carly’s father "Anthony" in a flashback scene.
I don’t think it’s a secret about Frankie being a Von Leuschner….He ran away and was adopted by the Brady’s and found Max and took him under his wing as well. Frankie and Carly know they’re brother and sister.
she could have gone to him for help when she had killed Lawrence. Oh wait, that wouldn’t give Bo and Justin anything to fight over.
to Frankie being related to Katarina is becuz…. during Frankie’s last visit to Salem, the writers conveniently ‘forgot’ past history and chose to write the script that Frankie was birthed from another source. That was when the dialogue was retelling how Frankie and Max, the street waifs, were adopted & became Brady’s (it was more for the sake of the introduction of Max’s character to viewers). But, we seasoned viewers were all up in a dither, that the writers re-wrote history yet again!
I realize Carly running to Bo was to drive another wedge further between Bo and Hope but I’m also getting the idea was Salem was near her daughter.
While they never mentioned Frankie’s real name, they also never went against the SL. Meaning they didn’t talk about birth parents or anything else like that. So I don’t think they re-wrote history, they just never talked about their history.
Right. When Max and Frankie first came to Salem they were on the streets and Frankie told everyone Max was his brother. That’s when the Brady’s adopted both of them. It was later after the adoption that Trent came to Salem and it was discovered he was Max’s father and Frankie and Max weren’t really brothers. When Frankie came back to Salem the second time Carly was already in Salem and it was revealed he was Carly’s brother.
It always boils down to da plot!
