Does anyone out there own a
Kindle book reader (or what ever they are calling them)? I love to read...let me rephrase that...I used to love to read...three or four books a week and that was when I was working ten hours a day, (plus hubby and house). Now I'm retired and thought I'd be able to read a lot more... however, my eyes tear up after reading about ten pages or so...I have a great eye doctor and up date my reading glasses every year if necessary, but it's no fun for me to read anymore - and that was going to be one of my pleasures of being retired... So I am contemplating getting a Kindle reader because you can make the Fonts BIG and you can download books in 60 seconds and you can also at the touch of a button listen to the book (it reads itself to you) for when you are grocery shopping or something and can't put the book down because it's so great...but it's expensive - now I do treat myself once a year to a new toy - if possible - and I am thinking this is almost a necessity rather than a luxury for me - but I don't know anyone who owns one...
