Daniel really went off on Carly because she didn't tell him he was Melanie's father yet he doesn't seem too anxious to tell anybody either.  And Victor asked him point blank, "and what does Melanie mean to you?"  I don't understand his reasoning for holding back, heck, especially with Chloe.  Which is another story all together.  If she gets up on her high horse because Daniel has a child and she can't have one, OMG, someone ought to send her back to pre-school...Kindergarten is too advanced for that type of jelousy.
