If they try to pawn off Dr. Dan as Melanie's father, I won't buy it for a minute. Is he so stupid that he finds out Carly is her mother...how old she is (Mel, not Carly)...when they had their "romp in the hay"???? Besides, I don't believe those two act like they ever had intimate relations with each other. So, if they're thinking of making Daniel Mel's father, they'd better certainly come up with some semi-plausible explanation as to why he hasn't even an inkling of it being a posibility...like he's had amnesia for the past 20 years, or, Stefano had him prisoner on a deserted island for two decades, or, there was a, a, parallel universe, or, or, or.... <grasping at straws here>.
