This is purely speculation on my part...   could it be that Emily was pregnant at the time of her death but we don't know it yet because Rafe has such a hard time speaking of 'that time'?  Rafe being devoted to Sami's baby (babies) even though he and Sami aren't seeing eye-to-eye makes me wonder.  Rafe has never settled down (his belongs can be carried in two trips to the car) and is wrapped up in his work.    NOW... purely my speculation here.....  since Rafe is separated from Sami, he's free to lean towards another pregnant woman.. Chloe.    I see danger on the horizon with the Dr. Dan/Melanie storyline so....  Rafe to the rescue??
