Which Character(s) departure has been the saddest for 2009?

I have to say, it was sad to see John and Marlena go, especially after he was acting so 'evil' and then got paralyzed! I hoope they can return in 2010, but I don't think they will.
If I can recall, John, Marlena, Chelsea, Max, Steve, Kayla left this year, I may have forgotten someone, but this is what I remember.
